When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible-learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas.
|violence||While the film contains some sequences of martial arts action, it is generally suitable for viewing by all ages. The martial arts action consists of fighting between the good and evil characters, established in a fantasy-like context, most of which are tinged with humor. The fighting scenes which feature the villain, Kai, with his blade-like weapons are portrayed as slightly more intense but are depicted without any details of injuries. The lead character uses a powerful martial art move on himself to make sure that a dangerous enemy is defeated. In doing so, he fully expects to effectively trapped forever in the Spirit Realm, but his family and friends manage to channel their own power to him to survive and an old friend in the Spirit Realm helps him return to the real world.|
