nudity 5/10 Bella and Edward have sex. Edward is seen kissing her neck and ripping the back of her dress. The scene then cuts to a bed where they are seen kissing. The scene is not too long and shadowy. Bare shoulders, Edward's bare chest and bare backs are seen, and part of Bella's bare breast is visible. Jacob strips to his underwear in front of Charlie before phasing into a werewolf. Mostly played for laughs Kissing is seen several times between characters. A joke made about if Edward and Bella destroyed their room again while having sex. Played for laughs. Jacob imprits on the infant Renesmee, meaning one day their platonic love may inevitably turn into romantic love.
violence 7/10 We see piles of human dead bodies covered in blood; it is implied they were killed by a baby Vampire (we see blood on and around his mouth). It is implied the Volturi will kill him, and his vampire mother is shown being tortured. Two Volturi members rip her head and arms off (shown, no blood at all) to pieces and burn her. The baby vampire is thrown into the fire. A vampire has her head and arms ripped off from her body. We can see her limbless body fall to the floor in a close-up. It is then burned. A vampire electrocutes a vampire's hand. He is unharmed. The final battle is very violent. Many vampires and werewolves are killed in violent ways: beheading, limbs ripped off, bones crushed, burned, etc. Several vampires' heads are ripped off and shown to be decapitated, many limbs are torn off, werewolves are killed, many people fall into a pit and burn off-screen and more. Most of the characters die. Great amounts of vampire and wolf corpses are shown constantly throughout the battle. Many destroyed bodies and limbs are seen on the ground. Many vampires fall into a huge crack of lava and to their deaths. A vampire kills a man and it is implied he drinks his blood as he bites the victim's neck.the victim is an English Punk Aro is seen tackling Carlisle and then they fall on the floor. Aro stands up holding Carlisle's decapitated head. This provokes the violent war. Two vampires rip off the top half of another vampire's head. No blood is shown, but it is intensely violent and disturbing. A main werewolf is killed. We see a close-up of his corpse and it is very emotional. A vampire runs through a crowd of fighting vampires and werewolves pushing them out of her way and grabs a teen vampire by her hair. She then throws the teen to a wolf, who attacks her violently. The teen is shown trying to escape and her body goes still as the wolf rips her head off. Not bloody, but quite graphic and disturbing. A wolf is seen with a hand in mouth. A vampire burns another vampire. Two vampires run and dismember another vampire's arms. A wolf decapitates a vampire. Two werewolves tear a vampire's body apart. A wolf and two vampires break another vampire's legs, arms and his head to pieces. Another vampire later burns them. A werewolf brutally destroys a vampire. A vampire breaks the ground and there is lava in the bottom. Many vampires and a main wolf character fall down. A vampire decapitates another vampire by dislocating his body from his head. A vampire kicks a man in the face and the man flies in the air, just to land again. A vampire is electrocuted and then beheaded by another vampire. A wolf and a child are tackled by a vampire. We later see a close-up of the vampire's severed head. A vampire is electrocuted many times throughout the film. Jokes are made in this scene to lighten it up A wolf is chased by a vampire. The wolf has a child on it's back. The vampire dives on them and the wolf and the child live although the vampire does not. A vampire has his arms and face crushed by another vampire. A vampire is smashed to the ground. A vampire burns another one. Aro and Edward have a brutal hand to hand combat. Aro grabs onto Edward's head and we begin to hear cracking sound. Bella helps him out and the two eventually rip off Aro's head. His decapitated head is seen up close with an image of fire heading his way in his eye A cougar is tackled by Bella. She bites it to feed on its blood. Brief but blood is shown. A main vampire has his head graphically cut off. Several vampires and werewolves die many Volturi Guards destroy main characthers
profanity 2/10 Just one mention of "ass". Multiple uses of "damn".
alcohol 0/10 None.
frightening 7/10 The 10 minute battle finale is the most violent, prolonged, intense and suspenseful of all the Twilights. The many deaths in the final fight will upset some people as main characters die in strong instances. However, the deaths are merely a vision of Alice, and in the end, no-one dies. Carlisle's death is sudden, shocking and very intense. Seth and Leah's deaths are very intense and violent. Jasper's death is quite intense. the ending is quite sad. This is the most violent Twilight film. However, as this is a movie intended for a young audience (12-16), the level of blood has been toned down. TOTAL EXPLICIT CONTENT: 30/50
