Protagonist Alex DeLarge is an "ultraviolent" youth in futuristic Britain. As with all luck, his eventually runs out and he's arrested and convicted of murder and rape. While in prison, Alex learns of an experimental program in which convicts are programed to detest violence. If he goes through the program, his sentence will be reduced and he will be back on the streets sooner than expected. But Alex's ordeals are far from over once he hits the mean streets of Britain that he had a hand in creating .
|nudity||9/10 A cafe-like setting uses statues of nude women, some in provocative poses, as furniture or decoration. A gang of boys forcibly undress a woman with intent to gang-rape her. Full frontal nudity is shown from a distance yet you can still see her vagina, breast, and nipples, but the woman is able to escape before the rape can occur. A gang of boys invade a home, and their leader rapes a woman while forcing her husband to watch. The woman is forcibly undressed, showing full frontal nudity for a minute, breast, nipple, and vagina are briefly shown a couple times, but the scene ends while the actual rape starts and then cuts away, yet you only see the women face. A man walks around his house wearing only brief underwear. His psychologist talks to him while sitting/lying on a bed. During this he suddenly clasps the man's crotch. A man has rather rough sex with two women. blurry breast, yet still visible and a slight hint of a vagina, but not very visible due to the scene being extremely fast-forwarded. No close-ups. A house is full of erotic art, including a large phallic sculpture. Some frontal nudity is shown when a man is being undressed for prison.(slight instance of a penis shaft, and pubic hair) In a fantasy sequence, a shirtless man is shown reclining on cushions with three topless women. A video briefly shows a woman being gang-raped. Her breasts are shown. A woman wearing only brief panties is shown walking around for an extended period of time. The camera shows close-ups of her breasts. A nurse comes out from behind a curtain where she was having sex, with her blouse open and breasts revealed. During a psychological test, there is a drawing of a nude woman in bed. In a fantasy sequence, a nude woman straddles a man as he gropes her. Lasts for several seconds and the woman's breasts/torso are shown.|
|violence||8/10 A man cuts another man's hand with a knife (some blood). A man imagines Jesus being beaten by the Roman soldiers (somewhat bloody). During the same imagination sequence, a man's throat is cut (some blood, but not too graphic). A man attempts suicide by jumping out a window. The impact is not shown; he wakes up later in a body cast. Women are forcibly stripped in two different scenes; in one of the scenes, the woman escapes, while in the other, rape is implied. A man kills a woman by bashing her head with a sculpture; the actual hit is off-screen, although her corpse is shown afterward (no blood or gore). Several beatings (with fists, canes, etc.) have mildly bloody results. Although the violence is not necessarily graphic, it is portrayed in a realistic and harsh way that can come across as upsetting and disturbing. Two police officers attempt to drown one of the characters.|
