Several years later, Lord Asano holds a tournament to welcome the Shogun to Ako. The night after the tournament, Lord Asano is bewitched into hurting Lord Kira of Nagato, and is punished into committing seppuku by the Shogun. Realizing that it was a Lord Kiras evil plot, the samurais and the half-breed sets out for revenge against the Shoguns order.
|violence||Two men get into a fight, and at last one man severs the head of the other one with a sword(not shown but you still know what is going on), but then you see his head held by a man (no blood at all). In the movie, and the title for that matter, a samurai is decapitated and his apprentices become ronin Some men are forced to commit seppuku in order to preserve their honor. You do not see the full act, but the act alone is slightly disturbing and can be unsettling for some viewers Even without bloody and graphic images, some of the fight scenes can be extremely violence and intense A man is hallucinating the another raping his daughter, then he slashes him in with a sword.|
|profanity||A couple uses of "hell", and few of "goddamn you."|
|frightening||The action is very intense, and may frighten some children The supernatural aspect of the movie may frighten children, including the creatures and one of the antagonists, who is a shape-shifting witch|
